  • WELCOME!

I'm Genevieve and I've been photographing families, weddings, babies and events in Hong Kong for more than twelve years, and even winning some awards, too. My passion is portraits and I love to capture and commemorate your moments in time. I am a specialist in creating beautiful art work from your images and taking them to the next level when it comes to display.
Contact me to discuss the possibilities for your session. I shoot in studio or on location. Why not browse the galleries and decide what you want to say about your family and yourself? Do you want the clean, expressive studio shots, where the focus is on a clean capture of features and skin tones at a special time in your lives, or do you prefer the personality of your city to be captured with you?
I have used locations all over this amazing place and all over the world to bring the best out of my clients. Use the contact button to email me and start your adventure today!

Beautiful Maternity Shoot in the Studio

It was such a treat to see Maiko in the studio, with just 7 weeks left to go until her due date. It’s the best time to come for a shoot – with a gorgeous, round bump and lovely glow. Don’t forget our bump and baby offer – if you come for a shoot when you are pregnant, your newborn or baby  shoot (taken in the first six months) is free – no studio charge to pay for the second shoot!

Biggest Family Photoshoot ever!

There’s family and then there’s urban family. A huge group of friends who have all been a gang for years, through boyfriends, weddings, babies, children; through sad and happy times. This was a huge get-together, with lots of champagne (never be afraid to bring champagne along to your photoshoot!) and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny Hong Kong afternoon, too!

Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong

Our Lantern Festival, 2012 was such a treat. We caught a fire dragon dance – and I had great fun with the light trails. We watched the moon rise, on a beautiful, clear night.

We loved being part of the celebrations in Victoria Park. All the families stake out their little area with lights, lanterns and glowsticks. (We also used a few handy wine bottles!) I love how they seemed to have privacy in the crowds. The lanterns were beautiful and the light show was amazing. Until next year…!

Posted 20th September

So…Mid-Autumn Festival is on the way, and we are getting excited.  Even the website has lanterns on! Also known as Moon Festival or Lantern Festival, it signals the start of the cooler, less humid weather. Also, given our location, on Victoria Park, it is one of the most beautiful times of the year here. It’s such a treat to take photographs around the time – the  creativity which goes into the lanterns is exceeded annually and it’s such a sweet, family festival.

It also means the start of my favourite time of the year – the best season for location shoots! It’s the perfect time to get outside and take beautiful pictures.

Here are a few pictures from last year’s lanterns in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Cultural Centre, and Victoria Park.

Messy fun at Artful Kids

My little girl had so much fun at her new art class I just had to share! It’s multi-sensory, with a focus on independent play and self-expression and she, as you can see, gets right in there. I was supposed to just be photographing Gail, the owner and artist, but I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of the little artists at work. For more information contact Gail Deayton via facebook,  http://www.facebook.com/artfulkids or by phone on 9722 8353.

Evie having a perfect time. Nudity optional! But very practical in her case.

Gorgeous colourful goo.

Lots of lovely equipment! I LOVE art supplies – to the extent that I can’t let myself go into Wanchai’s Art Land without someone taking my wallet away from me first, or else I end up in serious trouble. Please note chi-chi parents’ terrace, complete with shade, papers and nespresso machine. Bliss!

Finger painting – sadly I didn’t get a picture of  her actually painting with her bottom but it definitely happened…

Cleaning up at the end. Amazingly designed sinks so you can actually jet wash your child, which in the case of mine is very useful, as you can see!
